16 MONTHS

Gavin just went to his 16 month old check up this week and he has grown so much since the last time we took him. He now weighs 26 pounds, 7 ounces and he is 32 1/2 inches long. He is still pretty tall for his age. I felt bad this time because I think he knew where he was and he kind of freaked out. He has been doing new things all of the time and I love it! I think this is the most fun age so far. Here are a couple of things he has started to do since the last update. I hate how I forget things once I sit to write them down.

- Has not had a bottle in over a month
- Tries to feed himself and always wants to take the spoon from us
- Goes around closing all of the doors and toilet seats
- Tries to say ball, mess, bear, dog, doggie, milk, nose
- Does not like Zoee to eat or drink because he isn't allowed to touch the food and water
- Loves to stick out his tongue
- Cannot eat enough macaroni and cheese
- loves yogurt, cheese, strawberry cereal bars, goldfish, BBQ chicken, and lots of new things
- LOVES Barney and the Elmo Christmas movie
- Can point to parts of his face when we ask him
- Has 8 front teeth and 2 big ones towards the back that just came through
- Dances a lot to different commercials and songs. He really likes the Black Eyed Peas song that always comes on the radio, the GAP commercials, and the song to the Wendy Williams talk show.
- Likes to put on shoes. He really likes to wear his Crocs
- Laughs all the time...even if its fake
- started to try and throw the ball to people
- points to the sky if he sees or hears a plane
- does the sign for please and more all the time
- starts to blow when he sees anything cooking on the stove or any steam
- runs in place and laughs

I hope I got most of them. I feel like he is always doing something new. He still likes to copy everything Taylor does and thinks she is so funny! We are having so much fun with him and he makes us so happy everyday! We are really lucky to have such a fun loving, happy baby!!
