HALLOWEEN

This is the last of the Halloween pictures I have for this year.  Gavin picked this pumpkin out at Trader Joes a few weeks before Halloween and the guy gave him some stickers on our way out.  He automatically thought that the stickers were for the pumpkin and there was no talking him out of that.  He put all of the stickers on it and tried to color on it with crayons.  He also wanted to paint it, but we never got around to that.  He DID NOT want this pumpkin to be carved.  He told Nate to get his own pumpkin to carve!

They are so proud of the pumpkins that their daddys carved for them

On Halloween night, we went over to trick or treat in Amy and Jimmy's neighborhood.  The kids were so excited to dress up and get candy!

Uncle Nate and Lauren came to trick or treat.  Grandma and Papa came too, but we didn't get a picture:-(

After trick or treating, we went over to see a friend of mine that lives in that area.  Her and her husband decorate their house more than any house I have every seen!

Manny, Danielle, and Baby Scotty

Hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween!!

PUMPKIN PATCH

We went to a couple of pumpkin patches this year and Gavin really enjoyed himself.  This is the first year that he was excited for Halloween.  He wanted to go to the pumpkin patch, dress up in a costume, and do all of the fun stuff.  This makes the holiday a lot more exciting for us!  He didn't ever want to buy a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch.  He thought we are just supposed to go and look at them and pick them up and roll them around.  That worked out perfect because they are so expensive when you buy them there.

Last week, Nate had a training in Irvine all week and Gavin and I stayed down there for a couple of nights.  When we packed his suitcase, he kept wheeling it around and telling Zoee that he was going on vacation to the pumpkin patch!

A PIRATE AT DISNEYLAND

Gavin and I went to Disneyland last week to see the Halloween decorations and hang out for the day.  I was completely surprised when he agreed to wearing his pirate costume because he NEVER wants to dress up for Halloween.

He took his costume very seriously.  He told me not to ask him to smile because "Pirates are very naughty!"  He also thought all of the other kids at Disneyland liked his costume a lot.
