FALL PICTURES

I took Gavin to get his pictures taken at JC Penney this weekend. This is the first time we have been there in a while, and it was a lot of work. He is now old enough to know that he doesn't want to sit in one place and do what they say. We did get some cute ones!!

NEW PICTURES

So Amy and I took Gavin and Taylor to the Mission Inn again to try and get some cute pictures of them and it was REALLY hard this time. They were both so busy and on the go. It was difficult to try and get them to stand alone in one spot long enough to get a picture and to get them to both stand in the same spot at the same time was nearly impossible...until we got to the fountain. Once we showed them the fountain, Gavin had a one track mind and he didn't want to do anything else at all. I was trying to show him other things to stand by so I could try and get other pictures, but he liked things like the bright orange cone and a metal black post that didn't do anything. Here are some that came out ok. We;ll have to try again some other time or go somewhere that is more exciting for them.

Look at how happy their cute little faces are

I think this is the cutest picture ever!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DYLAN!

Yesterday, we went to Dylan's first birthday party and celebrated with everyone. Gavin had a great time playing with ice bucket, opening and closing the doors, and playing on the cars with his cousins!

RANDOM PICTURES

I have a couple of random pictures that I haven't posted in the past couple of weeks...I have been a bad blogger.

Gavin sticks out his tongue now

He got to wear his beenie to go on a walk. This is the only cold night we have had so far.

His new jammies with matching slippers. They look so goofy, but they're cute.

I just like this picture!

SCHOOL CARNIVAL

On Friday night, my school had a carnival to raise money, so Amy and I took Gavin and Taylor. We went and ate and walked around to check it all out. Before we left, we went into my classroom to change diapers and they wrecked the place. They were tossing books off of the shelves, carrying the globe around and playing with the computers. They thought it was great, but I won't think it is so cute when I have to go and clean it up tomorrow morning!! Notice how we were taking pictures of it instead of telling them know...they are too funny!

GAVIN & ZOEE

Gavin has really come to love Zoee and he can't leave her alone. She never seems to get a break these days, even when she wants to eat. She lets him pound on her and annoy her all the time and she just takes it. I guess she figures this attention is better than none. They have started to play a lot more than they used to and he thinks she is so funny. We had to move her food and water into the pantry so we can shut the door and she can eat in peace. This is him waiting patiently for her to come out and play.

HAIRCUT

Last weekend we took Gavin to Cool Cuts for Kids and got him a haircut. I didn't realize how long it was until she started to cut it all off. It was getting out of control and really hard to do anything with. He was not happy when she was cutting it, so she did it really fast. They have a lot of stuff there to entertain the kids while they sit there. She turned on an Elmo movie that was right in front of him, he got to sit in a taxi car, and she was blowing bubbles. None of this seemed to amuse him, since it was close to bedtime and he was grumpy. He looks so grown up now. It's adorable!

This is before the haircut. It is so long and messy

13 MONTHS

Gavin turned 13 months a few weeks ago and I feel like I haven't posted an update in FOREVER! I have found it very hard to find the time to blog lately, so I have some catching up to do. He is at the most fun age right now and I wish he would stay at this stage for a long time!! He has started to do a lot of new things lately and it seems like he understands a lot more about what is going on around him. Here are a couple of things he is doing:

* Started to wave . . . again
* Tries to say "doggie" It doesn't sound very clear, but he says it when he sees a dog
* Plays with Zoee a lot and they fight and play with the toys
* Opens his toy box and empties it out . . . at least twice a day
* Pulls Zoee's toys out of her basket, one by one
* Has become VERY attached to his bear stuffed animal "Mr. Bear"
* Tries to run from us
* Gets up on his Angels chair and turns the light on and off
* Still loves his lawn mower and shopping cart
* Still like to pretend to talk on the phone and play peek a boo with us
* Tries to turn the doorknobs to go outside
* Loves the new refrigerator and opens a closes the freezer door because it is on the bottom
* LOVES to lay on pillows
* Empties the Tupperware cupboard
* Pulls the clothes off the hangers in our closet and his
* Unplugs everything from the outlets and likes to carry cords around
* He likes to look at us and smile really big when he is doing something wrong
* Repeats Taylor when she says "whoa"
* Got two new teeth on the bottom
* Sticks out his tongue
* Can't get enough of the broom
