BABY LORGE #2

IT'S A BOY!!
Gavin is going to have a Little Brother
He has his heart set on the name Chloe, even though it is a boy

On Friday, I went to meet Nate for lunch and we went to an independent ultrasound place to find out the sex of the baby. I had called and they said they can find out at 13-14 weeks and I just couldn't wait.  I was so anxious to know for sure.  We had taken one of the over-the-counter gender tests from Walgreens a couple weeks ago and it said boy, but I wanted to see it with my own eyes.

It is truly amazing to see the baby moving and bouncing around.  He was waving his hand and crossing his legs and pretty much could not stop moving.

We are excited to have another boy and companion for Gavin.  I have kept everything from Gavin so that makes things a lot easier.
It is unbelievable how much we love him already!

THE BIG 3-0

Nate turned 30 in August and we had a party to celebrate.  We had a nice time celebrating with family and friends and the party turned out really nice!

We made homemade candy apples and they were so good.  Thanks Amy for all of your help:-)

This is what went on the tables.  I tried to make them"manly" by using a beer mug.  Nate says they aren't manly after I put ribbon on all of them!

This is what Gavin and Taylor did to pass some time.  They were the only kids (and Emma) here until they went home with Grandma...Thanks Mom!

This turned out to be a great party.  Great people.  Great fun. Great food.  Great time.
After 2 parties in 2 weeks, I am officially PARTIED OUT!!

SAN CLEMENTE BEACH

A couple weeks ago, Nate's Aunt Anita was here from Florida and we took the Metrolink train to the San Clemente pier for the day.  It worked out perfect because we didn't have to drive or look for parking and Gavin LOVES trains.  He was pretty excited to be on a real train!

Him and his cousin Dylan worked on making sand castles for a big part of the day

He is using the bottle as a telescope to find treasures

He has a hard time letting his dad relax.  If Nate sits, Gavin is usually crawling all over him or tackling him somehow

We had a nice, relaxing day and I would definitely take the train to the beach again!

GAVIN'S ACTUAL BIRTHDAY

Nate and I saved gifts from us for Gavin to open on his actual birthday since it was after his party.  He was a little confused about why he was having another birthday.  He saw more gifts wrapped in Lightning McQueen paper and got excited all over again.  After we opened his gifts, we took him to the Pancake House for his favorite meal, pancakes and sausage!

For his birthday dinner, we went and ate at the Rainforest Cafe.  He loves looking at all of the animals and fish.  Thank You Grandma and Papa, Tommy, Amy, Jimmy and Taylor for coming to celebrate his special day!  We love you guys

This guy made him a T Rex out of balloons

He got sundae and a birthday song.  He doesn't like ice cream so Taylor took care of that for him and he ate a chocolate chip cookie

Happy 3rd Birthday Gavin!  We hope you had a great day.  We Love You

GAVIN IS 3

My sweet Baby Boy turned 3 yesterday!  I don't know where the time has gone.  Gavin is definitely one of a kind and I love the little person that he has become.

He is smart.  He is funny and loves to be silly.  He is very FEISTY!  One of his favorite words is NO and the other one is WHY??

He repeats a lot of things that he hears us say.  He loves to read books and sing songs.  He has a really good memory!

He has become very independent.  He thinks he can do everything by himself and tries to show and teach us how to do things as well.  He says, "Let me show you..."

He still loves to watch movies on his "Baby TV"

Toy Story and CARS are still some of his favorite movies to watch

Bagels, pancakes, and orange chicken are some of his favorite meals

Loves Zoee and always tell us that "Zoee is a nice girl."  He tells us to talk nicely to her  and pet her

He loves his Daddy and wants to be with him at all times when he is home

We think he is so sweet and we can't get enough of him.  He makes us laugh all the time with the stuff he says and does.  This age has been so much fun for our family!

We love you more than words can say and we are so proud to be your Mommy and Daddy!

Happy Birthday G Man!!

CARS Birthday Party

Last weekend was Gavin's 3rd Birthday Party.  This was by far the most fun party to plan for him.  We decided to go with the CARS theme because he still loves the movie and all the characters!  He was aware that the party was for him and he was excited and counting down to the day.  He was able to tell me the stuff he wanted at his party and I tried to get all of his favorites!  We served pepperoni pizza, grapes, carrots and oreos, and we rented a bounce house with a slide!

Chocolate dipped oreos

Gavin does not eat cake, so I got him a HUGE chocolate chip cookie instead.  Chocolate chip cookies are his favorite treat EVER so this was perfect.  He was calling it his "Big cookie birthday!"

We had a lot of fun celebrating Gavin's 3rd birthday.  A big Thank You to everyone who came to celebrate with us!
