MINI VACATION

Amy and I took Gavin and Taylor to Palm Desert for 2 days and spent time with Emma.  We were busy the entire time and the kids had so much fun.  On the way there, we stopped at Cabazon and planned on doing some shopping and when we got out the car, it was WINDY and COLD!!  We quickly went to the couple of stores we like and got back on the road.  Allison took us to the Children's Museum and we stayed for a while.  It was a lot like Pretend City and the kids had so much to do.  Gavin really liked the art station, where he discovered glue and scissors.

Can you tell how much he liked the glue??

He also spent some time in the animal hospital with this dog and it's puppy,

Did a little grocery shopping,

He was checking his pockets for money...didn't find any:-(

Got to pretend to be an archaeologist,

And rode on a police motorcycle!

The next day, we hung by the pool and got to spend some time with Nana and Bob.  The kids had so much fun swimming with them!  The kids made their Great Grandpa Bob a stepping stone with their handprints for Fathers Day and he LOVED IT.  He said it is one of the best Fathers Day gifts he has ever gotten before.

After a long day at the pool, we bathed the kids and hit the road to come home.  Thank you, Allison, for all the hospitality!

My cousin Tiffany got married last weekend and Gavin and Taylor got were in it.  The wedding was beautiful and she was such a pretty bride.  Gavin and Taylor looked so adorable all dressed up and they did a great job walking down the aisle.  Gavin got to hold the leash for Toby, the dog, and he took his job very seriously!

Mr. and Mrs. Chung!!

They changed into these outfits towards the end of the reception and did a traditional Korean ceremony.

They were watching the first dance

I thought this was funny!  Wedding Rehearsal...this is what we get when we ask them to sit together and smile for the picture.

It was a great wedding and it was nice to get together with family that we don't see very often.

Congratulations Tiffany and Wylie!

RIVER TRIP

Last weekend, we were invited to the river with the Avalos Family. It was a kid friendly weekend and we all had so much fun.  Gavin slept fine, played with the kids, and loved the boat.  We were a little nervous that he wouldn't want to wear the life jacket or be scared of the boat, but he loved it all!  Thanks again for inviting us, Philip and Allison:-)

ANGELS GAME

Nate got some really good tickets to an Angels game a couple weeks ago so we packed up Gavin and went.  It was pretty cloudy that day, but the weather still felt nice.  Gavin sat for a good part of the game, but got really antsy toward the end and we had to take him on a couple walks.  He brought his CARS camera with him and he was serious about getting great shots of the game!!

He is viewing the pictures he took!
