EGG HUNT

A couple days before Easter, we took Gavin to the Irvine Park for the Easter egg hunt.  I was excited thinking that he was going to like it this year and have so much fun picking up the eggs...wrong.  We got there and it was cloudy and freezing and he was starting to get a cold and he was in a really bad mood.  he didn't want Nate to put him down at all and he didn't want to participate.  We were showing him the eggs and telling him to pick them up and he would just kept saying NO!!  Before we left, we took him over to the lake to see the ducks and feed them bread and that seemed to make things all better.  He really liked doing this!
He really likes to chase birds and ducks right now.  He hasn't figured out that he will never be able to catch them!

Saying hi to the ducks

Notice he was throwing the ducks WHOLE pieces of bread and thought it was so funny

He is saying more bread

It ended up being a pretty fun outing after all!  Hopefully next year he will be more interested in the Easter festivities.

That's so funny that he throws the whole piece of bread! Bailey rips it off like we do, but every other piece goes into her mouth! Cute pictures! I love that place- I'm sure we'll be going there for years!
