One night this week, Nate and I took Gavin to see the ducks at the Riverwalk. I saw this place on another blog (Thanks Jamie) and thought Gavin would love it because he loves ducks. Whenever he sees water, he says, "wah wah and duck, duck, duck."

THE DUCKS
One night this week, Nate and I took Gavin to see the ducks at the Riverwalk. I saw this place on another blog (Thanks Jamie) and thought Gavin would love it because he loves ducks. Whenever he sees water, he says, "wah wah and duck, duck, duck."
Happy Birthday Robert
Tuesday was Robert's birthday and we had a little get together at my mom and Robert's house. It is so much easier than going to a restaurant with the kiddos and they have a tons of their toys over there to keep them busy. The cake was a big hit the them. They stood there and stared at the candles and Taylor even knows how to blow them out. The candles were relit so many times because they loved them so much!
Gavin and his Papa
Taylor and Gavin kept going in the pantry and getting cans of Diet Coke and pretending to drink them. They thought it was so funny!
Happy Birthday Rob. We hope you had a great one!

A VALENTINE'S DAY TREAT
I got Gavin a heart shaped sucker to eat for Valentine's Day at the park. He didn't want anything to do with it...until he tried it! He ended up really liking it and it was really hard to take it away.
Hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY
On Saturday, Nate and I went to the wineries for a couple of hours and had a day to ourselves, which never happens. It was a lot of fun and relaxing, but I couldn't wait to come home and get Gavin. We wanted to go out the day before Valentine's Day so we can spend the actual day with Gavin-our love!
I made heart shaped pumpkin pancakes for my two Valentines on Sunday morning.
On Sunday, we took Gavin to the Irvine Park for Valentine's Day. It was perfect weather and we had a great time at the park. We took him to the zoo to see the animals and he thought every one of them was a doggy. He enjoyed the zoo a lot more this time because he is older and likes to touch and feed the animals. After the zoo, we walked around the park to the pond and he got to see the ducks. We went on the train and he loved it. He kept saying, "Doh! Doh!" (Go, Go).

Last night, I took some pictures of Gavin because he was being cute and silly! I tried using my new lightscoop, but the coloring of these pictures are kind of weird. I still have some practicing to do, but I liked them anyway!
This is his favorite book right now. Its a big board book about trucks and he thinks he is reading it...even if its upside down
This is his new trick. He learned how to climb up in front of the TV. I think Nate will probably stop this real quick.
And he was climbing on top of his table. He felt so proud when he stood up and stomped his feet
Him and Zoee had a popcorn party! Zoee sits close by and waits for Gavin to share. I finally have to take it away because Zoee ends up being the only one eating any at all!
This is when he started to make silly faces for me! Sorry for so many pictures. I just think he is so darn CUTE! Love him...
