GAVIN IS 3 AND A HALF

My baby seems all grown up!  He is a little over 3 and a half now and I feel like there is no more baby left in him.  He is all about being a big brother and he seems to be taking this role very seriously.  He definitely has a mind of his own.  He is feisty and outspoken, but still so sweet.  He takes a while to warm up to new people and places. He will stick very close to his dad or me until he analyzes everything and feels comfortable.  He likes to be silly!  He is head strong and cannot be talked into much.  He is smart and pays attention to every little detail.  He is very loving with Nate, Grant and myself.  He always tells us that he loves us...especially if he gets in trouble for something.  Loves watching movies, "reading" books to himself and us, and playing games on his daddy's phone and iPad.  He still watches CARS, Toy Story, and some new ones, like Popper's Penguins and Puss and Boots. Gavin has a really good memory and I always hear him repeating parts of his movies and shows that he watches.  Loves to sing! He goes to school 2 mornings a week now and he really seems to enjoy it.  His teacher says that he is quiet and a little shy, but he does play nicely and socialize with the kids.  It is fun to hear him talk about his friends and what they do at school. His best friends are Cade and Connor.  He loves orange chicken from Panda Express, the bread at Chick fil a, beef jerky, ham sandwiches, chocolate chip cookies, pancakes, and lots of milk!

Gavin's favorite person in the world is his Daddy!  He waits for him to come home every night so they can wrestle and play rough, play cars and trains, and just hang out.  He loves to play hide and seek and always hides in the same places.

I love to watch him play with toys and pretend.  It is funny to hear him repeat things to his toys that we have said to him or that he has heard other places.  He has sound affects for every toy, all the time.  He seems to be very into missiles, shooting, things being dead, and other "boy" stuff.  I don't really like it, but I guess I need to get used to it living with all boys.

I love watching Gavin change and grow into a little man and I am so proud of who he is!
