TANAKA FARMS

Trip #1:
Last weekend, Nate and I took Gavin to Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch.  I really liked this pumpkin patch because it was just fields of pumpkins and Gavin could run around and have a good time.  He thought it was so funny to pick a pumpkin he liked, brush it off, and toss it.

He loved these "baby pumpkins"

Trip #2: We liked this pumpkin patch so much last time, we decided to go back again with Jimmy, Amy, and Taylor! The weather was chilly and overcast, but they still had fun.  They got to ride around in the wheel barrel and they thought it was great!

He picked one that was way too heavy!

 Something was really funny!

Can't ever get them to look at the same time

They were seriously looking for the perfect pumpkin

Happy Halloween Everyone!

HALLOWEEN AT SEA WORLD

We took Gavin to trick or treat at Sea World.  It was really cute and kid friendly, not scary at all.  All of the kids had on cute costumes, including Taylor, . . . but not Gavin.  He decided he is NOT dressing up this year and refuses to wear a costume.  He will wear his Angels hat if Nate wears his, so he went as an Angels fan!  I guess it was better than nothing.

He finally got the hang of Trick or Treating!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA

Last weekend we went to Palm Springs for Emma's 3rd birthday party.  My cousin AJ and his family recently moved to Las Vegas and they came back for the weekend so everyone could see Emma and celebrate.  The kids had so much fun running around and playing all day!

Gavin was so excited to be eating a sucker!  He finally tried one and liked it

They were all tackling Aunt Kathy

Nana and Bob brought them pumpkins with Halloween stuffed animals and tootsie rolls!

OAK GLEN

Saturday was a very busy day for us, but we had a lot of fun.  We got up early in the morning and went to Oak Glen with Nate's parents and Dylan, our nephew.  The weather was really nice and the boys had a great time.  We went home in the late afternoon and Gavin took a nap and then we headed out to the LA County Fair to meet Amy, Jimmy, Taylor!
There are a lot of pictures for this post

We went to the petting zoo where the goats were so aggressive and Gavin was getting pretty upset with them.  He only wanted to feed certain ones and that wasn't working out so well.  Then he got mad because they were jumping on "his daddy!"

We stopped at this pond that had water shooting up and they didn't want to stop throwing rocks and acorns.  They thought it was great!

Off to the LA County Fair with the Davis Family. . .

These two really crack each other up.  It is so cute to watch them together!

Taylor was waiting to go on the pony ride and Amy asked if Gavin would want to go on too.  I said there is no way he will go on the pony because he usually doesn't like to do things like that.  Normally he likes to stand back and watch.  Once Taylor was getting on the pony, he said he wanted to go too!  He let the worker take him and strap him on the pony and he didn't even cry for us to stand next to him.

What do you think??  Does it look like he's having a good time??  We could hear him giggling out loud, then entire time.  There is nothing better than hearing your baby giggle and watching them truly have a good time.  It's the simple things in life . . .

We had a fun and exhausting day!

5 YEARS AGO . . .

Five years ago today, we moved into our house.  I cannot believe it has been that long!  I remember how excited and anxious we felt just like it was yesterday:)  We bought it and had to wait for it to be built and we came to see the progress almost every day.  It was fun to watch it from the ground up.  I cannot picture us living anywhere else now that we have made so many memories here.

This was the picture we used for our housewarming invite

WE LOVE OUR HOUSE!!

LABOR DAY

For the Labor Day holiday, we went over and had a BBQ at my mom and Robert's.  It is always nice to go over there because the babies have so much fun in the pool and then we all go in the jacuzzi and hang out at night.  Gavin insisted that he wear his hat and he kept putting it on sideways and being silly!

Bear stayed on the pool deck and watched Gavin swim

Hope everyone had a fun 3 day weekend!
