Gavin's 4th birthday has been the most exciting for all of us! He was so excited, he could hardly stand it. This was the first year that he showed much interest in his birthday party. He wanted a Spiderman monster truck party at Chuck E Cheese so that is what we did! It turned out perfect for him and he was very excited.
On the morning of his birthday, he woke up to Spiderman balloons and gifts wrapped in Spiderman wrapping paper. He couldn't get over these new dishes with the "Scary Spiderman" on them. We are still washing the plate everyday because apparently the food tastes better when it is on that plate. I also made him an Ironman blanket. We took him to Farrell's for lunch with the family and they sang and put on a show for him. That night, we took him to Toys R Us, where they gave him a crown and announced his birthday on the intercom
Grant sat in his chair and watched his brother open gifts until he dropped his Sophie toy
The past four years have gone by so quickly, it's unbelievable! It's hard to believe that my "baby" is four and so grown up. He is sweet, but so stubborn. He likes things done a certain way and doesn't like to change things up. He is very serious, but silly at times. He thinks he IS Spiderman. He does moves and tricks just like him. He loves all superheroes, especially Spiderman and Ironman. Still loves his Daddy and chocolate chip cookies. He likes to eat pizza, taquitos, corn dogs, hot dogs, bread from Chick fil a, grapes, carrots, fruit snacks, and a couple other things. He is very picky and hardly ever tries anything new. He has really come out of his shell in the past couple of months. He has met new friends at school and he looks forward to playing with them! I am proud of the young boy he has become
