GRANT IS 4 MONTHS!
I am a little late on the 4 month post, but better late than never...right?
15 pounds, 25 and 1/2 inches long. He is growing a lot!
This picture explains a lot. He LOVES his feet right now. He is always trying to hold his feet, usually the right one. He has gotten it to his mouth a couple times, but not every time.
He hears Gavin all the time and is always watching him play. All the running around and Spiderman sound effects keep him pretty entertained. I love how much he loves Gavin already.
Gavin is still practicing how to be gentle and give Grant space!
He has been able to roll over from his tummy to back for a while now. Now he can also do the opposite. He rolls both ways very quickly
Likes to watch Zoee. He can hear her collar when she shakes her head and looks for her
He wiggles everywhere!! He likes to arch his back and slide down or try to get out of the carseat. He couldn't stop sliding all the way down in this baby bath, so he had to move to the next size up!
Constantly trying to blow bubbles. Its so cute when he does it because he seems like he is so proud of himself
He has started to really notice the TV. He likes the color and music
Gavin still has a lot of nicknames for Grant: Squirmy worm, Lil Bubbas, Hungry Hippo
Thinks he can twist and squirm right out of this Bumbo seat. He has gotten pretty close
He tries to grab EVERYTHING and it goes straight to his mouth
The saucer and the jumper have kept him pretty busy the past month. He loves to be standing up and doing stuff
He babbles a lot now and makes all different noises, especially when we are talking to him
He still hates the car and carseat, but it seems to be getting a little better. He calms down when I turn the radio on really loud
NANA AND BOB
I took the boys out to visit with Nana and Bob and we had such a fun, relaxing day! We ate at their grill restaurant and swam in their pool. Bob took Gavin on a couple of golf cart rides and Nana held Grant in the water and wet him down and he didn't seem to mind...maybe because it was around 108 that day!
Thank You for the nice day Nana and Bob. We love you!
Preschool Performance
Gavin has now finished his first year of preschool. I can't believe how fast it went. I remember being so worried that he was not going to adjust and play with the other kids and definitely not going to lay down and take a nap, and he did!! I am so proud of everything he has learned this year and how much he has changed and "come out of his shell." It's a little depressing that we will be almost ready for Kindergarten a year from now:-(
He had an end of the year performance where he sang songs on stage with his classmates. It was pretty cute. We followed him back to his class where he had cookies and juice and said goodbye to Ms. Breyon and some of his friends.
