GAVIN IS ONE TODAY!!!

I truly cannot believe that our baby boy is one today. I don't know where this year has gone. It has been the most fun filled, busy year of our lives. It is amazing how much happiness a baby can bring to us every day. It is hard to picture what life was like before him. As I went through pictures from the last year, it was very hard to pick which ones to post, so I posted a lot. I tried to pick a lot of the "firsts" and holidays. Here is a trip down memory lane!!

NEW PICTURES

Amy and I took Gavin and Taylor out to take pictures again. There was a really old tractor sitting out there and I got some cute ones of Gavin by it.

GYMBOREE PLAY & MUSIC

We signed Gavin up for the Gymboree Play and Music class and it is really cool! There is so many things for him to climb on and play with. They sing really cute songs and keep them very entertained. There are a lot of kids in the class and it is cool to see how he interacts with other kids. He seems to really like it a lot.

FUN WITH THE HOSE

When we are outside, Gavin loves to go straight for the hose. He tries to pick it up and swing it around. When it was really hot, we turned it on and he tried to drink it and got soaking wet.

LEMON

We went to Dukes in Huntington Beach to eat lunch last week and Gavin sucked on a lemon for a really long time. He really likes it!

LAS GAVIOTAS

Last weekend, we loaded up last minute and drove to my mom and Robert's house in Mexico. It was a very quick trip, but we had fun. Gavin didn't want to cooperate with the picture taking, so I didn't get as many as I would have liked. The weather was perfect and it was so pretty there.

GAVIN IS WALKING!!

Gavin has been taking 4-5 steps for the past week and yesterday, he stood up and started walking! He wouldn't do it if I stood him up, he wanted to do it all by himself. I just can't believe he is already walking. This video is really dark and horrible, but you can see him walking.


GAVIN UPDATE
I have been off work since the end of June and it has been so nice to spend every day with Gavin. He has been doing a lot of new things and I have been able to see them all. He has started to get a little more feisty and lets us know what he really wants. Him and Taylor have started to really fight and scream at each other. It is actually pretty funny to watch! He eats a lot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, grilled cheese, quesadillas, yogurt, and he loves chips. He babbles a lot and still pretends to talk on the phone with everything. He feeds Zoee from the highchair and thinks it is really funny because she sits pretty for him. He empties all the cupboards and drawers that we don't want him to get into. He loves to scrunch his face and blow in and out of his nose. He fake laughs when he wants attention in the car. I will have to add more as I remember it.

2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Today is our wedding anniversary. I can't believe it has been 2 years already. I was going to post pictures of things we have done in the past 2 years, but I have too many to pick from, so I am sticking to the wedding. I am so thankful to have such a great husband!!
